Our debate club “AGILIS”, coordinated by our teacher Popa Voichita has 24 active members and 10 sympathizers. At the beginning we have learned the main rules of debates, then the debate matches followed. So, we have found out what it really meant to debate a motion. We realized that debate is very interesting: things that seemed insipid had many faces and that nothing is ridiculous or minor.

We have the occasion to be informed about many subjects (motions) which enrich us spiritually and help to grow up. Here are some motion examples:
“ 2000 Parents are lenient ”,
“ Women' place is in the kitchen ”
“ Experiences on animals should be forbidden ”
“ Reintroducing school uniform is justified ”
“ American Holidays Celebration in Romania is right. ”

Then the competitions followed on levels: the unexperienced students participated at beginners section, and the advanced ones at local contests. In May 2003 we have participated at regional competition organized by ARDOR BANAT. At all levels, Agilis'members were well-prepared and played fairly.
